The 16" Horizontal Two-Speed Lapidary Unit laps, grinds, sands, and polishes large or flat surfaces. This unit is perfect for working stone book ends or clock faces. The solid steel plate turns at 220rpm and is reversible. CAUTION: Do NOT run the steel lap plate at high speed. Pieces larger than 8" can be abraded by turning the work piece. This multi-featured unit includes a 1/3hp motor, a 9" diameter (100g) grinding wheel, an adapter and wrench, a splash guard, a 10" aluminum head with sand disc attached (220g), a 10" aluminum head with a leather polishing disc, a water feed, and a 16" steel face plate. The horizontal lap unit ships complete with instructions and guarantee.
