8" SUPER DIAMOND LAPIDARY MAXI LAP

Covington's Maxi Laps are excellent units for grinding, shaping, and polishing small work pieces. All models have a cast aluminum body, three (3) quick change aluminum heads (no hole) with hard or soft rubber, 1/3hp heavy duty motor with a carrying handle, instructions, and product guarantee. The aluminum head turns at 1410rpm. The Super Diamond Lapidary Maxi Lap comes with three (3) 8" x 1/2"-20RH thread quick change aluminum heads and Covington's fastest cutting diamond abrasive system. The fastest cutting diamond abrasive system consists of three (3) 8" x no arbor hole perforated metal bond diamond cutting discs (100g, 220g, & 600g), and an 8" magnetic holder. No additional adhesive or shaft nuts are required. The grinding head comes ready to mount diamond cutting discs. Quickly switch cutting discs by lifting one off and positioning the next. This unit comes complete with the fastest cutting diamond abrasive system, a book about using diamond abrasives, one (1) 8" x no arbor hole diamond disc (1200g), and one (1) 8" x no arbor hole leather disc. The diamond and leather discs are affixed to a soft rubber face with "Stick-N-Peel" adhesive.
